About Blue Wolf

Investment Strategy: Financial Distress and Organizational Restructuring

Our financial and managerial expertise enables us to analyze situations quickly and effectively; to assess value; to propose, structure and negotiate transactions; and to implement the resulting operating plans.

We draw on our deep relationships with turnaround professionals, lawyers, accountants, and other specialists to assist us in implementing complex transactions.

We are prepared to invest in the following situations:

  • Companies operating outside of bankruptcy that require financial and/or operational restructuring;
  • Sales of assets pursuant to Section 363 of Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code;
  • Companies seeking an exit from Chapter 11 through a plan of reorganization;
  • Struggling subsidiaries, divisions, or product lines with integration and carve-out issues;
  • Companies with significant legal or regulatory issues; and
  • Companies whose significant operating problems (cost overruns, product recalls, etc.) have caused harm to their market reputation and financial health.
